"Wine Windows Program Loader" is not responding

Hi, I’ve been trying to play Anno 1800 with Lutris. I tried with recommended scripts and many more combinations.

The constant problem that I’ve been having is the error notice that says “Wine Windows Program Loader” is not responding. Please help.

My specs:

Ubuntu 18.04.2
Nvidia driver: PPA 418.56
Vulkan installed.

I have the same Issue.

Scenario 1: The game starts and everything seems to be normal. After ~30sec in the menue, the game stops responding and the Windows Programm loader appears. After that, the game crashes.

Scenario 2: I use the time before the crash (30 sec) to rush through the menue to begin a new game. If i am in, i can play (not sure how long).

Try installing faudio via winetricks.

Finally i found the solution.
I had to disable the uplay overlay in the settings of uplay. After that, i was able to play 2 hours without issues.
