WoW retail and forever suddenly stopped running

Yesterday everything was well, today I tried adding a starter for WoW Forever and I must have changed something important by mistake. Battlenet starts up fine. The error I get when stating any of the games is:

Start monitoring process.
Initial process has exited (return code: 0)
err: Got allocation from memory type 10 without global buffer
err:   D3D11VideoDevice::GetVideoDecoderProfileCount: Stub
err: Presenter: Failed to create Vulkan surface: VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_HOST_MEMORY
err: Failed to create Vulkan surface, VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_HOST_MEMORY
err: DXGI: CreateSwapChainForHwnd: Failed to create swap chain, hr -2147467259
Monitored process exited.
Exit with return code 0

I haven’t changed anything else, just tried to add the starter. It seems that while doing so Lutris resets the Vulkan/DXVK settings on other starters? Not sure what the right settings were. How can I debug this?
I’m running Debian12 (cannot update for other reasons)

Edit: vulkaninfo tells me I have v. 1.3, and in some backed up old config I had DXVK 1.10.3 so I set that DXVK version in Lutris. Now I’m getting:

Start monitoring process.
Monitored process exited.
No return code

Maybe the other versions need to be changed away from default too? But to what?

I just noticed all my dll overwrites vanished for some reason. I know they were there just an hour ago.

Edit2: vkcube works without issues. I changed DXVK back to standard 2.6 and now I can’t even get the previous error anymore. It’s just start-exit-no return code.
