World of Warcraft updating stuck at 0%

I have an install of WoW on another drive that I used for playing on windows that once I have installed Battle.net through Lutris I am locating to run. Once located it shows that there is an update, but will only hang and either kick back an error or just revert from installing the update to prompting me to do so again.

I apologize as this is the first issue I’ve had with Lutris and Ubuntu and I know there is a way to gather diagnostics on Lutris with the

lutris -d

command, but I’m not sure where that log is written.

I appreciate any and all help.

I had the same issue - this site helped - https://appuals.com/how-to-fix-error-world-of-warcraft-error-blzbntagt00000bb8/

I was actually able to get it fixed, well sort of.

This issue ended up being that I was using the WoW install on my NTFS drive in an effort to keep all my plugin data synced, but the drive is read-only because of the formatting sp I had to move my install to an external drive with exFAT formatting as a workaround.

would still love a way to use the same install, but that is more of a Linux issue than a Lutris issue.

Ah - the ntfs read-only drive - I wasted days trying to get a shared Win 10/Linux Wow install. good luck
