so, in Linux, Steam has an option to scale the interface but it seems steam for windows relies on windows itself to do the scaling so the steam client does not offer this option. Is it even possible to run wine steam on 4k monitors or am i just shit out of luck?
There is a 4k/HiDPI steam skin that you can use in the windows version, HiDPI Steam Skin.
This post here on steam forums shows you where you should put the files for your Widows steam install. Be sure to modify the path for your wine prefix that you are using for steam.
