Will Lutris + Comet be a thing?

I couldn’t find anything on this topic using the search function, so hopefully I am not overlooking this. Though, as my topic states, will ithe “Comet” software by imLinguin be added to Lutris similar to the Heroic Games Launcher? You can run it via terminal, but HGL is the only one I am aware of that has it built in.

If you don’t know what Comet is. Comet is the solution for GOG games on Linux without GOG Galaxy. As it allows for multiplayer use of games that require GOG Galaxy along with added achievement support, and a lot of the other perks of GOG Galaxy to Linux.

I am just curious if plans for this s a thing? Because, If this could be put into Lutris for GOG games and it just control it out of the box. It would make using Lutris for GOG very convenient. No more janky installing Comet and launching it with a login script for each game.

If I remember correctly the devs (or at least someone?) responded rather positively to the idea. However it doesn’t seem to be part of the roadmap yet.

You’ll probably receive a better answer creating a Feature Request on github. :slight_smile:
