I have trouble installing battle net. I found out on Reddit that a fix is available in 0.5.11. The post is one month old, and I also see some posts on this forum saying that 0.5.11 is coming.
The version is available on staging repo for ubuntu, but still not in the stable channel.
Does anyone have any info about when it’ll go stable?
Is staging version stable enough for me to upgrade for the time being?

EDIT: ended up updating to staging. Battle net nows installs correctly.
I’m going to rollback to a previous version of bnet to avoid the newest problem where games can’t update.
Distro packages are shit in those distros, they will generally always be behind any project upstream.
Alternatively, remove the distro package and use the Lutris PPA for it. Then you don’t have to wait for Ubuntu next time. You should already have all the dependencies
You can add a repository using terminal to receive automatic updates:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:lutris-team/lutris
sudo apt update
sudo apt install lutris
