DXVK should be allowed to run on a pure 64-bit system with no 32-bit libs installed. It shouldn’t just show this error in the Lutris GUI: “Vulkan is not installed or is not supported by your system, DXVK is not available.” especially now that you can use the WoW64 build of Wine, which allows 32-bit Windows applications to run on a pure 64-bit system.
̶I̶s̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶w̶a̶y̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶b̶y̶p̶a̶s̶s̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶e̶r̶r̶o̶r̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶c̶e̶ ̶d̶x̶v̶k̶ ̶u̶s̶a̶g̶e̶?̶ Ok, I figured out that installing DXVK via Winetricks bypasses this, but Lutris should have an option to force DXVK usage without needing lib32 Vulkan dependencies.
Is your Wine/Windows prefix a 32-Bit one? Usually this required 32-Bit dependencies in most cases for me - or maybe if the game itself requires them.
No It’s a WoW64 Wine build, which means all 32-bit applications work on a purely 64-bit system. With this wine build, you don’t need to have any 32-bit dependencies installed, but if you don’t have 32-bit stuff installed, Lutris thinks your PC doesn’t support Vulkan, so it doesn’t allow selecting DXVK in the settings, so I have to go around Lutris and install DXVK through Winetricks; that’s the issue.
