Uplay hangs after a few seconds

Hi, I’m new to Lutris and have an issue using uplay.

I installed it via https://lutris.net/games/uplay/
I successfully logged into my uplay account. When I then try to install any game, while the download is active, the uplay window completely hangs and does not respond anymore. Moreover, it stops downloading the game. Seems like the process itself is stuck.

edit: I’ve tried both, the new and the old version of uplay. Both hang after a few seconds of downloading.

edit2: Ah yes, my system conf: Linux Mint 19.2, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, Driver v. 430 (430.26-0ubuntu0.18.04.2), AMD Ryzen 7 1700X.

edit3: I found that the same happens with wine-steam. After a few seconds of downloading, it hangs with no response and stops downloading - process seems frozen.
