I use OpenSuSE Tumbleweed. I played this game long long age, when installer uses wine. Problem was the game lags. Currently, lutris install native binaries. Current problem is: there is no sound. I see other Unreal game had the same problem, but decided to open new topic, because it is different version of game. When clicking show logs, nothing interested was shown.
How to solve this problem?
Are you insyalling it with a exe or a disk.
From GOG. And not from exe, cause it is probably native version. I see it in Linux category and I see little penguin logo on splashscreen, while the game starts.
are you sure you install the Wine version not Linux because i just installed both.
and the Linux version is broken the wine version works fine in Wine 7.X.
It working. I reinstall the game.
If the GOG version uses the original UT2004 Linux install script that came on the CD, that script must be edited to work on modern systems there is a guide telling you what to change online, ive installed it this way on Ubuntu 18.04 from the cd.
