Ubisoft Connect crashes on launch even on fresh install of Lutris

Log and lutris-issue-report included in link below.

I’ll add that I have to semi-regularly reinstall EA and Ubisoft connect after some time of not opening either because they will refuse to open. I don’t know if that’s an issue with Lutris updates breaking something, but I thought I’d add this detail in case someone knows what’s up.

to install “Battle.Net” or “Epic Games Store” or “EA” or “Ubisoft connect” with Lutris:

1) set “GE-Proton latest” as default in Lutris
in Lutris menu, preferences, runners, wine, click on the wheel, set “GE-Proton latest” as default Lutris Wine version

2) Then install Battle.Net or “Epic Games Store” from this link:
Battle.net - Lutris
Epic Games Store - Lutris
EA App - Lutris
Ubisoft Connect - Lutris

NOT DIRECTLY FROM THE SETUP FILE.

Nota: If you don’t have “GE-Proton latest” in your list, you will need to install GE-Proton 10.x with a tierce app like ProtonPlus.

Changed Wine to GE-Proton latest. Neither EA or Ubisoft Connect would launch. Uninstalled Ubisoft Connect, now it refuses to install “OSError(‘Invalid Wine prefix path /mnt/[disk]/Ubi, make sure to create the prefix before saving to a registry’)”
Tried 3-4 times, even under an changed directory name not used before.

It seems you have permission issue, do you use Flatpak Lutris version?
What is your OS version?

It was on the non Flatpak version.
Linux Mint 22.1 Xia
Kernel: 6.14.0-28-generic
Any more info on my system is in the Ubuntu pastebin

On Linux Mint, it is strongly adviced to use Lutris Flatpak version.
