Trouble Running Epic Games Launcher on Lutris (Ubuntu 22.04)

Hi everyone,
I’m having issues launching the Epic Games Launcher via Lutris on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. The installation completes successfully, but when I try to open the launcher, it either hangs on the login screen or crashes immediately.
What I’ve tried so far

  • Using the latest Lutris Wine runner (GE-Proton)
  • Enabling/disabling DXVK and Esync
  • Installing core dependencies like wine, winetricks, and vulkan
  • Switching to different versions of Wine through Lutris
    Still no luck. Has anyone else had success running the Epic Launcher recently? Any working configurations or tips?

  • Ubuntu 22.04
  • NVIDIA GTX 1660 with proprietary driver
  • Lutris version 0.5.15

EPIC does not work with latest GE-Proton nor Lutris 8.26 version.
The current known Wine version compatible with Epic is Wine Staging TKG 10.7.
