The address wasn’t understood

Using Arch Linux with firefox. When I try to use install script it says Address not understood. I read there other thread related to this issue, but I was not able to fix my problem with the solutions there.

"The address wasn’t understood

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (lutris) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

You might need to install other software to open this address."

EDIT I failed forgot to change boolean once I changed it I was able to select Lutris.

Hi there! I’m having the same problem that you described but can’t seem to understand your solution. I’m not the most knowledgeable person but can you please explain more briefly how do I change the boolean i.e. where is this boolean? Thanks!

Bump. Experiencing this too. Kubuntu 18.04. Chrome opens Lutris Install links, Firefox doesn’t.

Googling “Firefox boolean” yields no obvious results.

That URL doesn’t say anything helpful about Firefox. Maybe they moved the information?

@ Strider Since this problem has been known for several years then I think the Lutris installer should check to see if the computer has Firefox installed and if so the issue the commands to install the needed Lutris file association. At least in future Lutris versions.
