Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - Install uses Linux Steam client

First I want to say this I really like Lutrus.

Issue : Installer seems to be using the Linux Steam Client to run the download.

1st install attempt :

Install
-> Which Version -> xlava- port (linux)
-> Set Install Path -> /home/adrian/Games/star-wars-jedi-knight-ii-jedi-outcast
-> Continue

Linux steam client starts so the Download is 0 bytes.

Source does not exist: /home/adrian/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/6030/GamesData

2nd install attempt :

Install > Which Version -> xlava- port (linux) -> Set Install Path -> Continue

Steam client is skipped

Source does not exist: /home/adrian/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/6030/GamesData

“Remove” does not help - retries are the same as 2nd attempt.

Manually deleting the 6030 directory allows the Install to run and again uses the linux.

Can confirm, I tried the install and Jedi Outcast wasn’t downloaded…
I tried with another native game that gets its data from Steam (Quake 3) and there was no problem downloading the game.

Something weird is up with Jedi Outcast. I changed the installer to use Wine Steam instead of Steam to download the game data, it should work fine now.

It does work now.

Is there a way to use the GOG version for the installation of this game? Or just add a second option to pick the setup file ourselves?

The existing installer can easily be forked and adapted to work with the GOG version.

Will look into it. Thank you.
