[Solved] Titanfall 2 Won't Launch

After installing Titanfall 2, the Origin app starts but the game won’t load. I’m running an Nvidia 1660Ti with Nvidia’s drivers

Okay, I did that and initially it said that it needed “winbind” installed so I did (running Kubuntu 18.10 btw) now the log is showing ( I tried Windows 10 and Windows 7, no difference):

Good news!! Mostly got it! In the Origin client, went to “Settings” on the game launcher, “Game Properties”, and I de-selected “Enable Origin in Game for TitanFall 2”

Now the only remaining problem is that the audio is garbled and the fix listed on the install page for it (the pulse audio change) breaks pulse audio
