[Solved] How do I report errors in scripts?

I have discovered an error in the install script for Age of Wonders: it tries to download a codec from github but the link does not exist anymore. I have tried installing it via Lutris from GOG, just to get hit with an error.

Now, I wanted to provide feedback here to draw attention to the error and have it fixed by someone who knows what they’re doing. Unfortunately, Lutris appears to only have this forum for that. Is there another, more effective way? This forum seems to be too general.

If I have to do this for each deprecated github link, what is even the purpose of Lutris?

There was another topic on this years ago, but apparently no body really cares.

huh, interesting. I definitely got a github 404 when I wrote that post. It’s still in my browser’s history as “page not found” but revisiting downloads the file. Maybe it was a temporary problem on github’s site, then. Sorry for the false alarm and thank you for reaching out.
