Sims 4 Runs after install but after shutdown cant restart?

Hi
i have successfully installed The Sims 4 using Lutris on Ubuntu. (about 5 times).
Origin installs and The Sims 4 shows on the Origin games screen.
I can click on The Sims 4 and it plays.
But each time, after logging out there is no The Sims 4 or Origin showing in Lutris.

  1. There is always a consol screen running saying something like downloading game data - even after leaving it for hours after installing.

  2. Maybe there is a command line i can run that starts lutris and Origin?

  3. On the lutris .net page for DVD install it says the game must install to: drive_c/Progarm Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4
    but the closest i seem able to get to it is drive_c/Progarm Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/The Sims 4

so, what am i doing wrong?

After a cou[ple more installs i finally got the game to restart - it was a matter of getting Origin install path correct (not the earlier inatll path for the whole game install) , setting it to Program Files/Electronic Arts/
