Shadow banning in online games : is there a risk for Wine?

I’m playing league of legends, and some of my matchmakings are very strange. And when i play with Windows, my matchmakings seems more normal.

Yes, MP games, you risk being banned with you don’t play in a way that’s not officially supported. Wine (Proton or whatever) is normally a non-supported situation.

So yes, it is a situation where they will ban, if they decide to.

I’m talking about “shadow” banning : you think our account is ok, but in fact the server secretly gives you false matchmaking.
Example : Call of Duty: Warzone is pitting suspected cheaters against each other
