I can’t get Leisure Suit Larry 5 (with the default install script) or Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist (with the ScummVM install script from the Lutris website) to run. When I try, ScummVM launches, but it claims “Game data not found”.
This is the command that Lutris uses to launch LSL5:
/home/furrykef/.local/share/lutris/runners/scummvm/bin/scummvm --extrapath=/home/furrykef/.local/share/lutris/runners/scummvm/share/scummvm --themepath=/home/furrykef/.local/share/lutris/runners/scummvm/share/scummvm --aspect-ratio --fullscreen --gfx-mode=3x --path=/home/furrykef/Games/gog/lsl5 sci
The funny thing is, I also have the Linux Mint ScummVM package installed, and if I run the exact same command using the global scummvm (by cutting off the “/home/furrykef/.local/share/lutris/runners/scummvm/bin/” part), the game runs! So there should be nothing wrong with the command line arguments.
For what it’s worth, the runner does run TeenAgent correctly, so I assume the problem is only with SCI games.
