I’ve had Star Trek Online and The Lord of the Rings Online running together in Lutris for years. Because of a special event I decided to install Dungeons & Dragons Online, as well. (This is the other game from Standing Stone Games and it uses more-or-less the same code base.) It installed and ran fine. But after installing it I find that Star Trek Online will not launch. ??? Aren’t games installed in their own separate virtual systems? How would installing another game interfere with an existing game? LOTRO still runs fine. But, that’s from the same company and probably uses the same settings.
So now I am wondering what may have been changed that prevents STO from launching? I looked at the logs and there is a clear error message, though I don’t know what it means.
