Poor performance on Uplay games

I install Uplay with Lutris script (DXVK version). It works great but games works very slow. I try Assassin’s Creed 2 and Watch Dogs and with low graphics games has poor performance. Is this normal or I must make some tricks with that.

I play on Dell inspiron 7577:

Which driver is running on your device?

I use last drivers for nvidia 410.73. Also try wine-staging 3.18 and DXVK 0.91 but sill the same.

give the latest esync staging a try and post your logfiles.
I got also trouble on the notebook of my girlfriend with uplay.
There could be more behind it than wrong drivers or errors in the setup and that is now to determine.
maybe something was changed in the requests of Uplay.

I’ts a bit better with esync wine staging but after few minutes there’s random freeze and I have to shutdown uplay and lutris.

Please Make Sure your set it up this way.

I do that but still the same. Assasins Creed 2 work slow like on my old laptop and just after start the game.

it Looks to me like something about the Shadows in the Game is not working well try different setting and look in the config of the game if you find a alternative Shadows rendering mode.

Forget what I said, I could imagine that it is due to the missing SSE 4.1, 4.2, etc support.

I upgrade wine-staging to last version and disable esync. Game works nice even on max details but slower than Witcher 3 on my laptop. Thanks for help.

Now I install Assassin’s Creed IV and it works perfect. :slight_smile:
