Performance issues even with DXVK

I have a AMD Ryzen 7 2700x with a RTX 3060 Ti. Its a Debian with the latest Lutris installation. Games are starting without errors using Vulkan. But the Perfomance seems to be half of the Performance with Windows.
Here is a example log with Word of Warcraft. Resolution 2560x1440 with 4xMSAA and good settings. While the framerate in Oribos is 90 FPS using Windows the framerate. With Linux the framerate is dropping to 44 at the same position. Also in raids during bossfights the performance is remarkably lower.

The userlimits are set to maximum.

Maybe you should update your drivers, the newer ones should work better. I installed the 495.44 driver and my games are running great so far. I am using Pop! OS 21.04 with a GTX 1070M

Thank you. I will try. But the drivers coming with Debian are up to date, 470.x is the latest stable Version. The 495.x Driver is still experimental.

I need my PC for mostly for work and I am a bit afraid. Also I doubt that the performance difference is remarkable.

Have you tried disabling DXVK via the slider in the game’s runner options?

I ask because I have a similar setup (a 2560x1440 display with a Ryzen 3700x & RTX 2070 Super) and a while back I had horrible performance (FPS in single digits to the teens) in Sins of a Solar Empire with DXVK enabled. It ran fine after I disabled DXVK. While it seems most games run fine with it, apparently some games have problems with it.

WOW won’t start without DXVK. And it seems that the graphic is not the bottleneck. I can change the quality from low to high without any difference. So i guess it`s the cpu. But wow seems to use all cores, I disabled per user process limitation. But the performance seems to be significantly lower. (about 50%)
If I enable esync the fps are lower and the game seems to be laggy .

In oribos fps rate drop to 48-54 while the cpu load is about 40%.
