Osu! updater: An error occured! Please check your internet connection

I tried installing osu! on a clean install of manjaro. The installation didn’t have any problems, but when the osu! updater launched, it says this:

So I thought the problem was that I couldn’t connect to the internet, but I am able to connect to the internet just fine using Firefox. I tried restarting my pc but the problem still persisted.

(it said I could only post 2 links as a new user).
Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I found a fix!:
install lib32-gnutls.

hello, I’m new to linux how do you install lib32-gnutls

That would depend on the Linux distribution that you are using.

On an Arch Linux based distribution, that would be

sudo pacman -S lib32-gnutls

On a Ubuntu based distribution, that would be

sudo apt install libgnutls30:i386
