Origin .NET framework failed to install (error 5100)

Hi everyone,

I tried to install Alice: Madness Returns through Origin but right at the end I got a message stating that a the .Net Framework was not installed successfully and it could not proceed. The error code is 5100. I’ve read on some other forums that they had to manually run VCredist.exe in _Installer/vc/ or _Installer/redist/ directories but neither of those exist…

I’m running Lutris on KDE Neon 5.18

I’m having that issue as well. on the origin github it says you have to copy the redist to some other folder and rename it but that didn’t work either.
