Origin and EA app wont install

I have been trying to install Origin or EA app(through Lutris[Flathub]), but every time that I try, it always spits out the error code 256. I’ve done some research and saw that the 256 error code is vague. There were some repeating factors. One is:
warning: You are running winetricks-20220411-next, latest upstream is winetricks-20230212!

warning: You should update using your distribution’s package manager, --self-update, or manually.
and
warning: You are using a 64-bit WINEPREFIX. Note that many verbs only install 32-bit versions of packages. If you encounter problems, please retest in a clean 32-bit WINEPREFIX before reporting a bug.

I’ve tried to look up how to update wine, but I haven’t been able to find out how. I also have no idea how to fix these issues.

Linux Mint 21.2 Cinnamon(5.8.4)
Linux Kernel 5.15.0-84-generic
Intel Core i5-7440HQ
31.2 GB Memory
Intel Corporation HD Graphics 630
nVidia 930MX Driver: 535.86.05
UPDATE: I have figured out how to update wine tricks.

Same here. To chime in with some more input, here’s what I’m getting after running flatpak run net.lutris.Lutris and then clicking the Connect button next to Source Origin, then confirm everything dialogue with default input:

Please check the forum messages - I have posted a fix for this issue oh and install wine-ge 8.17 from lutris (runners on the left hand pane, click the folder when you have wine highlighted)

Thanks! Following your instructions, deleting ~/.wine and then running the Origin installation from Lutris worked! Hooray \o/
