I rolled up a new lutris package from github last night and found that my library screen wasn’t showing the tiles.
So I viewed the terminal output (lutris -d) and it led me to a Cairo context error. “huh, I didn’t know this used Cairo.” What is this, a python application. Hmm… that means bindings.
In Arch’ish distros that’s python-cairo
In Ubuntu’ish distros you’ll need python3-cairo
In Fedora that’s also python3-cairo
So if anyone grabs a recent snapshot from tarball or git, install your distros python3 bindings for the cairo graphics library.
