Magic: The Gathering Arena (MTGA) repeatedly crashes

Installed latest version 0.1.1968.747022.msi of https://lutris.net/games/magic-the-gathering-arena/

MTGA works fine for a few minutes and then it misbehaves (display and buttons do not update as expected) until it closes or (rarely) displays the below progress bar error window or I stop it from Lutris.

There is a lot of available RAM, so mmap() failed: Cannot allocate memory is suspicious.

Special full-screen animations are never displayed, that might be related too, GPU is Intel HD 620.
