Magic the Gathering: Arena laucher stuck at "Checking for updates"

I just installed MTG Arena on Manjaro 20.2 using KDE. When launching the game a window pops up which says checking for updates and it just gets stuck there. Sometimes it crashes and say i need to restart the launcher, but mostly seems to just stay at checking updates for however long you leave it.
I am running this on a Yoga Slim 7 laptop with a Ryzen 4800u. Kernels I have tried are - Kernel 5.9.11-3 and Kernal 5.10.rc5.d1122

For those who see for this errors.
Try installing lib32-gnutls from your package manager.

Thanks! Confirmed that this fixed it on a new Arch installation.
