Lutris wine + gnome wayland + trackpad gestures - BadWindow/X_UnmapWindow crash

posted to the subreddit but figured here might be a better place to ask.

when running a game using lutris wine on gnome wayland (42.1), if i switch away from the game (using trackpad gestures, using the super key doesn’t seem to have the same issue) and try to switch back, the game crashes with an error:

has anyone else seen this issue before?
