Lutris keeps reinstalling CachyOS Proton ... and complains it is already installed

When i try to install a new Windows game, after confirming the game should install into the /Game repository in my documents, and even before having selected the .exe installer, Lutris insists on reinstaling CachyOS Proton everytime (currently the exact file is proton-cachyos-11.0-20260703-slr-x86_64.tar.xz).
Of course, only when the 300Mb download is complete, it realizes it’s already installed and says (roughly translated) : Failed extracting /home/user/.cache/lutris/proton-cachyos-11.0-20260703-slr-x86_64.tar.xz: [Errno 17] The file exists: '../gamefixes-steam/61500.py' -> '/home/user/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine/proton-cachyos-x86_64/protonfixes/gam (it seems the end of the path is truncated but you can easily assume it’s /gamefixes-steam/61500.py)

Note that on a first install nothing fails of course, as Lutris doesn’t find a similar file already.
I already tried to delete the faulty folder, which allows the game to rightfully install but - again - forces Lutris to redownload install said CachyOS version of Proton everytime.

What can i do ? is it a bug ?

I ran Lutris in the terminal to get its exact outputs up until the bug, here it is:

as i understand this will only delete this folder right @legluondunet ? i already tried that and the problem reappears whenever i try to install another windows game after that.

This is in the Wine default options.
This happens with every windows game i tried to install since yesterday.
