Every Wine window appear as a small line of pixels.
Double check to see if you have wine dependencies installed. Sounds like you may be missing wine dependencies. These are system packages and are not related to lutris.
First, try installing wine via your package manager for your distro, then check that the following dependencies are installed. The package names may differ slightly for your distro:
