I’m trying to install Fallout 2 Classic on a REALLY old laptop that cannot run 64 bits, whenever I try to run the installation I always get an error saying “wine: WINEARCH set to win64 but 'home/user/Games/fallout-2-Classic is a 32 bit installation” and just throw’s me out.
You have to set that before generating the wine prefix. In Lutris, when you go to “configure” for the game (left hand drop list), then on the Game Options tab, that’s “Prefix Architecture” which defaults to Auto.
You could try changing the Prefix Architecture to 32 bit, moving the game installation out of /home/user/Games/fallout-2-Classic (I presume that’s your wine prefix), delete the wine prefix, regenerate it (e.g. with “configure wine” in the right hand drop list for the game) and then move your game directory back in place.
