I can't seem to log in from the desktop client

No matter where I look on the desktop client, the profile/login section seems to have vanished. I need that section to sync my Steam games, so how do I log into the desktop client?

Same here. Using Manjaro with 5.12 Kernel.

I think I figured it out: it goes by device.
