I have no idea what im doing if im honest, i believe i installed gamescope and lutris recognizes that but every time i try to launch a game i get an error

Plenty of bug reports with that error on GitHub. The fix is merged (we hope,) waiting release - you’ll have to wait until 3.16.2 is out.
