Grim Dawn - Forgotten Gods crashes with esync Error

Hi everyone,

I’m playing Grim Dawn - Forgotten Gods (GOG, All Patches installed) and it crashes after ~ 10-20 Minutes of Gameplay.

Lutris Game Log:

eventfd: Too many open files
Protocol error: process 0008: sendmsg: Bad file descriptor
Waiting on children
All children gone
Exit with returncode 0

This looks like a typical esync Error, but nofile is set correct. Output of ulimit -a:

GTX 970 (Driver: 396.54)
Game: Grim Dawn + ALL Addons (Version 1.1.1.1-Hotfix2, GOG Version)

If any other Information is needed, please ask!

Hi, I had the same error, have you solved it?

Hello everyone!

I had the same error, and disable ESync in game configuration worked for me.

Greetings, Ronny
