GOG: wine game with dlc whose installer has got multiple files

Hello everyone,

first post, so please tell me if I’m doing something wrong without knowing.

I want to install the GOG version of UnderRail with the Expedition DLC. I’ve managed to write several GOG installers on my own before, including games with DLCs. But with this game I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, it simply doesn’t work. If written a test installer (https://lutris.net/games/underrail/) but it doesnt work.

If anyone of you owns the game including DLC I’d be very glad if you could look over and/or tell me what I am doing wrong.

Alternatively, I’d love to see another good example of a wine game that uses a DLC. Maybe I’ll be able to deduct from that how I have to change the installer to work properly.

Thanks a bunch, have a good day!

I am wondering the same thing. I have a GOG game (Chaos;Head Noah) that automatically pulls the game installer files, but I need to extend it to also automatically pull the DLC installer.

Did you ever figure out how to do this? Is it even possible?

Thanks!

I don’t have any experience with those games. but ‘if’ you have the data on your hard drive, assuming it has separate EXE installers(?), can’t you just install the main game and then run the installer for the DLC in the same Wine prefix and it will probably automatically install it to the proper location?
