Getting error when trying to install Lutris on Linux Mint 19.1

I get error:

gpg: keyserver receive failed: Server indicated a failure

when trying to add ppa according to instructions on https://lutris.net/downloads/ for Linux Mint.

Why is this happening?

i am having the same error, did you figure it out ?

After adding the PPA and doing the sudo apt update thing, you should be fine. If not, it means your gpg key didn’t work OR the server is offline (you simply had bad luck and tried doing the operation during some down time)
