Hi, I’m new to linux gaming, so please bear with me. I’ve been trying to get genshin to work for the past two days, it I keep running into the same issue over and over and I’m at a point that I don’t know what to do or how to find a fix.
I’m running genshin through the lutris hoyoplay launcher on Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS. it downloaded and installed just fine, yet a few seconds to a minute of running the game it disconnects me with the 10010-4001 error.
I tried using the disconnect-reconnect network trick i’ve seen suggested (I turn off the internet before launching hoyoplay, launch genshin, connect to the internet, and log into the game), but it still throws me out.
The hoyoplay launcher is using the wine runner “wine-staging-11.2-x86_64” which lutris defaults to.
Please let me know if i should be providing more info. I feel genuinely clueless at this point…
