hey guys. how do i install the latest glorious eggrolls proton version for lutris? the list of wine runners doesn’t have anything newer than ge-protonified-4.10-x86_64 for me.
i used youtuber Chris Titus Tech’s script to install Proton-5.4-GE-3 [link] for steam and many more games now work that didn’t previously, so I’m thinking maybe i could do the same for lutris?
Why isn’t it showing up in the list?
ge-protonified build has been deprecated, and the patches from it have apparently been merged into the main lutris Wine build.
oh well. i am trying to get Doom Eternal to start but i can’t it get started at all, i was hoping GE-proton would help.
You can try selecting “Custom Wine binary” and pointing it to the one from Proton, if the game isn’t in Steam.
