Lutris does not create files while the installation !
With that few information, I can’t tell what runner are you trying to use for that game.
For better debug, run lutris in a terminal (just type “lutris” in a terminal anywhere) and try to install the game. The terminal shall have a lot of information and should give you some clue as to why the game quit.
