Game downloaded from Epic games store not working

I installed Epic game store on lutris, the store itself is working fine. I downloaded The Long Dark from the store, it downloaded all fine. If I launch it form the epic launcher, i am faced with a black screen with only sounds. The game is in full screen and the intro audio is playing fine but there is nothing on the display, it is just black.

I tried to add the game executable directly from the download folder to lutris, it doesn’t work.
Im sure i have wine installed.

Is there a way to fix this? I am using Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS, i have nvidia drivers etc.

Might want to install Media Foundation patch from here https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install according to Proton DB (when you subtract the idiotic reports about the native Linux game that’s one of the tinker reports).
