When I attempt to install the game it gets through everything but then when it says preparing to update it starts and then stops immediately and says its done. Please help if you can.

Although the Fortnite Installer has been recently updated, I’m not sure how it deals with the anticheat (apparently it simply bypasses it?) which could possibly lead to account banning (I’m supposing).
If you still want to follow through, the error you mentioned is not relevant and you should probably be lacking a system-wide installation of Wine to carry on.
