[Feature Request] Remove blockage from "checking for runtime updates"

Honestly it’s extremely bad UX to have the ENTIRE APPLICATION not actually usable while you wait for it saying “checking for runtime updates, please wait”.

My feature request is this is done in-parallel, behind the scenes, as the application launches. That way the UX is the application becomes immediately responsive, and the check is done anyways.

Can we please have this change made?

Yes, it’s really stupid but has improved markedly for me recently. Notwithstanding that, just close/kill the window and Lutris proceeds normally.
