Epic Games Store error microsoft visual c++ rountine library

I installed Epic Games Store, and when I launch it I get this error message:

How do I fix this?

I can’t reproduce the error here.

Please confirm a few things, like the version of Lutris and whether you are using Flatpak - logs are super helpful here. First, launch Lutris in debug mode, and also right click on tile → show logs for more information.
Also, please confirm you have installed all the software to support WINE and the Vulkan drivers for your graphics card.

After that…

  • Did you use the installer from the Lutris site?
  • When does it fail - Immediately on first launch? Before or after it updates? When you login? When you launch a game?
  • By default it uses “-opengl” so did you change any launch options?

Change to wine-staging - winevulkan error happens on Wayland with proton and proton derived wine versions with EGS. I would recommend using the Kron4ek tkg wine-staging versions, they have most of the same patches as the GE proton

Thanks for the help. But this thread is over a month old. Due to problems only now the admn made it public. Now I’m using Heroic for EPIC, GOG and AMAZON. For the rest I use LUTRIS.

LOL - np I saw you on Nobara forums earlier so was a little puzzled on this post here - anyway Heroic is best for EGS

Yes, it was always me. Anyway I abandoned Nobara. And I switched to Zorin OS. It seems strange, since it is not designed for gaming, many games run better for me, and start up more quickly. At least this is my experience, current and recent.
