Epic Games Launcher flickering

I recently tried installing epic games launcher I signed in successfully with my epic games account but epic games launcher keeps flickering almost unplayable.

It feels like they don’t have any intention of supporting Linux NOR letting Wine work properly.

Opt out of the beta by clicking on Settings on the bottom left. Relaunch Epic Games Launcher, click Settings again, and click restart and update.

i cant do anything its flickering to fast, unable to do anything…

Take it up with Wine. Not a Lutris problem. Nothing anyone here can do.

I ran into the same issue, and is it some manner of OpenGL problem?

Any ideas?

Solution is here:

Post by Muata_Tux has the method of stopping the flicker. It works until you actually launch a game (download takes forever for some reason) and goes back to flickering after you exit the game.

I had to add a second argument after the first in lutris, “-opengl”
