EA-app kernel anti-cheat Battlefield 1

Hi, I’m trying to play Battlefield 1 on Steam Deck, getting an error

The program encountered E111000B at 00001883 during initialization.
Wine, Proton, and Steam Deck are not supported by this application!

when trying to start the game.
Googled it - it seems EA added new kernel anti-cheat to their games that made it unplayable on Linux.
Yes I know here is this thread - but no help in it for my problem. And they also suggest going to Discord - so if a solution was found later, I can’t find out about it.
Anyway, I tried clean reinstall with ge-8-26, Proton: 7, 8, 9, Experimental - no luck.

So, my question is: do Lutris community have a workaround for this kernel anti-cheat?

The error message suggests the game detects it’s running environment and prevents running it in a runner.
Nothing you can do it seems.
