E: Unable to locate package lutris

I followed the steps to add the lutris repository:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:lutris-team/lutris

, update:
sudo apt-get update

, then install:
sudo apt-get install lutris

However, I get E: Unable to locate package lutris

I’ve checked some of the other entries and those aren’t helping. Please help a noob out.

Hello what is your Linux DIstribution name and version?

I’m running into this problem as well. I’m running Ubuntu 16.04. Any help appreciated. thanks!

There is no PPA Lutris version available for Ubuntu version < 18.04 LTS.
You should think to upgrade to the last Ubuntu LTS version: 18.04.

It might be possible to grab the github project and then run Lutris but I don’t know if its blocked on that OS version or not (didn’t look).
