Diablo 3 Keyboard problem

Hello,

I have a problem with Diablo 3 that I installed thanks to Lutris (Battle net).

The game launches normally and works well except for one detail.

Key 2 on the keyboard (not on the numeric keypad) doesn’t work. The shortcut works if I use the shift key in addition.

It’s the only shortcut that doesn’t work, keys 1 - 3 and 4 are ok.

I’m using Fedora 45 with Fr keyboard and Nividia drivers for a GTX1060.

Has anyone ever had this problem?

For information : Lutis → System → Input and activate QWERTY Keyboard.

This option corrects the problem. It’s not perfect but I can play now.

I have the same problem on two computers, too, in Wold of Warcraft. I also have AZERTY keyboards. First the problem occurred in Fedora, and now in Manjaro.

My way to fix it was to configure the game as follows :
System options > Game execution > regional parameters
change it to fr_FR.ISO-8859-15@euro alternative. It is not perfect as special characters do not work anymore when typing, but at least key bindings are working again.

If you do not have this choice, you can uncomment it here :
sudo vi /etc/locale.gen
and then
sudo locale-gen

Changing to qwerty feels bad… I would not mark it as resolved. It is clearly a bug, it was not happening before. Not sure what could have changed…
