I managed to get Darksiders 2 running with Wine Staging 1.9.19 while I was doing my usual testing for DOOM and Strider.
Then I changed some option in the graphical settings and then I could get the game to run anymore, it now crashes before getting to the main game menu, just like it always had.
If anyone wants to give it a try and figure out what’s the trick to get this game working, that’d be awesome. At least it seems that this game can run without manually patching Wine like it was required before.
