Hi, its my first day on linux so talk to me like i am a retard.
I installed Lutris form terminal command, got some problems while trying to install a game. I scanned this forum and found out that people that had the same problem got recommended to update to newest version. I checked my version it was 0.5.9.1, tried to update it via terminal but couldnt.
I purged it with terminal, downloaded 0.5.12_all.deb file from github repository and run it. After installation i’m checking the version and it is still 0.5.9.1! Also one game i added to the libary (Company of Heroes 2) is still there which i think shouldn’t be the case since i used apt purge command.
My linux version is Linux Lite 6.4 based on Ubuntu 22.04
You can try to install lutris flatpak from here Lutris | Flathub
And if flatpak is not setup you can follow the guid here to set it up
