i know i shouldnt be using centos 8 but using dnf or yum against all repositories I cannot find the lutris package. anybody have an explaination?
Packages are provided on a best effort basis, and even then its down to the repo maintainers whether they get included or not.
Search the Fedora 8 EPEL repo - if it’s not there, it’s not there. Stream 8 is pretty old now and may not even have a compatible Python3 anymore.
If it’s in Fedora EPEL 9, you probably have your answer.
